![]() ![]() First pic is old bolt (black) and new bolt. I don't know if this will apply to any other sleds or just the S-2000 chassis. The clip prevents the bolt from being pushed out the keyhole. The T-shaped bolt fits in the stock keyhole and prevents the bolt from turning. If I did it again, I'd buy a pneumatic staple gun that would hopefully get in those tight spots a little better or, take it to a upholstery shop and have them staple the cover back down. ![]() ![]() I pulled the cover over the bolt, stapled the cover back on and, finished it off with a stainless flat washer and nut. I pushed the new bolt up through and put a new retaining clip on the bolt, against the seat. I replaced the bolt with a stainless 1/4" carriage bolt which I cut part of the head off to resemble the original, and it worked great! When I cut the head, I just lined up the saw blade against the square shank, then filed the edges flat and smooth. I experimented with an old seat and pulled the staples out of the cover about 5-6" either side of the bolts, removed the retaining clip and pounded out a funny T-shaped bolt. ![]()
